Training/Assessment

For the assessment:

1. Referee signs up for assessment (CalSouth.com/Assessment Request) and pays $75 to CalSouth, unless Mr Lee Popejoy instructs you to pay the assessor at the field.

2. If an AR is going to use the assessment to upgrade, a $15 payment is made to the center referee. Otherwise, the AR pays nothing to the center referee. [The assessment for the center would be $75]. Be sure you include the time, location, date etc., even cross streets for the assessor to find the field. Contact the assistant referees and let them know the game will be assessed, have them bring their USSF id card to show to the assessor. The assessor will need to talk to the three referees following the game so be sure you notify the assignor of this, so games don't start running late.

Collect your fees from the teams on the field, split 40%/30%/30%, the AR will pay you $15 each if they need an assessment for their upgrade, otherwise the total fee will be your responsibility.

Calsouth would like a 2 week notice but will do their best to get an assessor to cover your game if it's one week away.
